Hello everyone,
SHIPPING
The shipping of the books is going apace, with almost 500 backer's orders fulfilled.
There are still about 50 of you that haven't completed your survey, meaning that I can't ship out your books. Please do so as soon as you can.
There was a bit of confusion with people getting an email that their labels were printed at the end of March but had not yet received their books. I was told today that this was a glitch in the system, as the labels were first created to begin the process, but emails were not supposed to have been sent out then.
From what I've been told, all but the last 30 or so backers who filled out their survey this past week have had their books shipped or will have them shipped by the end of this week.
Sorry for any confusion, and I appreciate your patience.
REVIEWS
If I may ask for a favor. Reviews, even one or two word ones, really help us out. Amazon requires 50 or more reviews for it to be picked up by their algorithm, with DrivethruRPG doing something similar.
If you wouldn't mind, we'd love to have you leave a review, whether it's a starred review, one with just a couple of words, or a full-blown analysis.
It would help us out a lot.

Backerkit Invites Away!

Hello everyone,
Our Smoke Test appears to have gone well. I say 'appears' because only half of the 32 backers randomly selected responded. Nevertheless, after a manual check, all shipping costs and items look like they're correct.
I just sent all backers a link to their Backerkit page. Please take a moment and complete the survey so we can get the books to you ASAP.
You'll also find an Add-On for the Arcanis Core Book, which we call the Runic Edition, in case you are interested in getting a copy of that massive tome.

Backerkit Ready for Smoke Test

Hello everyone,
Backerkit just approved the project, and I'll be sending out the "Smoke Test" (5% of backers are sent links to ensure everything is working correctly)pretty much as soon as I hit SAVE on this update.
A few notes:
Shipping Calculations
I have set up the shipping costs for the most common book combinations, including the new Add-On for the Runic Edition of the Core Book, in case you missed it.
Backerkit works off of weight limits, so if you add a second Codex of the Mind, Runic Edition, or some other combination, the shipping quote you'll receive will be $10,000.
DON'T PANIC.
Just send me a message or email at [email protected], and I'll work up the actual cost for your order and credit the cost for the difference. I'm only charging for the actual cost of shipping. I don't want to make any profit from shipping, but I also can't afford to lose any, either.
Speaking of which:
Australia/New Zealand
On the Kickstarter, we planned to ship books directly from Hong Kong to Sydney to save backers from Down Under on shipping costs.
I found out after the fact that Aetherworks ships books under a certain weight by air rather than by sea. The shipping amount I was quoted had the cost of shipping 50 copies from Hong Kong to Sydney as significantly more than it did to ship the books from Hong Kong to LA by ship. Almost double, to be honest.
So, we're shipping books from the US to Australia/New Zealand, which is still high.
I apologize for that.

Canada/EU/UK Shipping
Our shipping method remains the same for those of you in Canada, the EU, and the UK. We'll be using the Fed Ex service that has your books in your hands (fairly) quickly and already includes any VAT charges.
US Shipping
All domestic parcels will go out by Media Mail, the least expensive manner possible for getting the books in your hands.
Digital Rewards
Your Stretch Goal Digital Rewards (VTT Tokens and the Psionic Powers/Combat Cards PDF) will be in your Digital Downloads tab.

The Books Have Arrived!

Good news, everyone.
The books have arrived and will begin their journey to our warehouse in Tennessee as soon as they come out of Customs. I expect it shouldn't take more than a week or two to arrive there.
I'll finalize the Backerkit page and start the process of getting the books out to you.

End of the Year Update

Hello Everyone,
I received the advance copies of the books (See below), which look great!
Unfortunately, the shipping estimate was bumped up a bit. They advised that they now estimate that the books will reach our warehouse in Tennessee in February.
"DAP Studio 2 warehouse: approx. February 13th, 2023(This is based on normal shipping routine, a possible delay will be incurred due to the port congestion or lack of cargoes)."
It's about a two-week delay from their original estimate, so hopefully, there won't be any further delays.
Australian Backers
I'm not sure why, but the shipping costs from Hong Kong to Australia have more than quadrupled since they were first quoted to me. It will be cheaper to ship the books directly from the US than to use Aetherworks to deliver them to you. I'll update you on the actual costs as we get closer to delivery.
Backerkit
We are once again using Backerkit to help fulfill all of the orders.
To ensure that you are charged the most accurate shipping charge, we'll be opening Backerkit up in January.
