Hello everyone,
We're agonizingly close to funding the project and could really use your help in pushing us across the finish line.
Please share this Kickstarter with everyone that might be interested, as well as posting on any social platforms you use. It can really make a difference.
Thank you!
For those on Reddit, I posted there and received a very nice nod from someone there. You can read it here:

The Psi-Warrior

As one of the three new Classes presented in the book, I thought we'd take a look at the psi-warrior and a glimpse at the sub-classes it offers. Here's a snippet of the class.
The Psi-Warrior
Those Awakened that pursue the martial application of psionics are known as psi-warriors. While all val families are able to train in the martial psionic traditions (called regimes) common to all, each one also has a unique martial tradition known only to them.
Psi-warriors use their focus to empower their weapons with psionic potential, heighten their physical resilience, and manifest bolts of telekinetic energy that can stagger even the most monstrous foes.
Racial Requirements
The psi-warrior requires the psionic potential racial trait.
Hit Points
Hit Dice: 1d10 per psi-warrior level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 10 + your Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d10 (or 6) + your Constitution modifier per psi-warrior level after 1st.
Proficiencies
Armor: All armor, shields
Weapons: Simple weapons, martial weapons
Tools: None
Saving Throws: Strength, Wisdom
Skills: Choose two skills from the following: Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Athletics, History, Insight, Intimidation, Perception, Psionics, and Survival.
Equipment
- You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background. If you choose a weapon with ammunition, you start with 20 bolts/arrows or 10 shots of blast powder in the case of flintlocks.
- The equivalent of chain mail or leather armor from your starting nation.
- Shield or martial weapon appropriate to your starting nation.
- Choose any three simple weapons appropriate to your starting nation.
- Choose any two martial weapons appropriate to your starting nation.
- Choose either a dungeoneer’s pack or an explorer’s pack.
Besides the unique regimes taught (and jealously guarded) by each val family, some regimes are taught by all.
Space doesn't allow me to give a full description for each of the psi-warrior regimes, but let me at least entice you with their titles.
Commonly Held Psi-Warrior Regimes
Mindful Mountain
Psi-Blade
Psionic Champion
War Mind
Val Family Psi-Warrior Regimes

Let me leave you with a look at an Adept of Illiir's Light, ready to do battle with his Gladius of Radiance.
As always, thank you for your support!
Getting Closer...

Hello everyone,
We're getting closer to our funding goal. I'd like to thank all of our backers for their generosity.
Today, I thought we'd look at what the Codex of the Mind contains.
I can't show you a finished Table of Contents, as the book still needs art and to be laid out, but since the manuscript is complete, I can break down the beats for you.
Title/Credits Page
Chapter One - Psionics in Arcanis: This chapter deals with how psionics differs from Arcane, Divine, and Primal magic.
Chapter Two - Races: This chapter describes the various races that can become Awakened. These include the ssanu, naga, and the Brood of Ven of the ssethric people, undead, and the various val families.
The Brood of Ven is examined in detail, as are the mysterious val'Cessari, a new val family. Should the val'Fenrix, the Lords of Winter, be unlocked, their write-up will be placed here.
Chapter Three - Psionics Overview: This chapter describes the nuts and bolts of the psionic rules for 5E.
Chapter Four - The Psionic Classes: This is one of two very meaty chapters, as it presents three new classes (the Psion, the Psi-Warrior, and the Wilder), as well as the subclasses.
Chapter Five - New Psionic Class Options: This chapter deals with psionic variants of the basic classes, such as the Cleric, Ranger, Warlock, etc. It will also include new Backgrounds, Combat Schools, and Feats.
Chapter Six - Equipment and Magic Items: Self-explanatory.
Chapter Seven - Gnosis Powers and Spells: Another very meaty chapter detailing the psionic powers and spells.
Chapter Eight - The Silence: Awakened enemies of life and adherents of Oblivion, the servants of the Silence are detailed in this chapter, along with a new Warlock Patron (The Silence), and a new gnosis (Dissolution).
Appendix I - Madness of the Mind: Expanded madness rules
Appendix II - Codex of Threats: Psionically themed creatures to bedevil your Heroes (should we unlock the Stretch Goal).
Index
That's the book in a nutshell. In future updates, we'll explore the various subclasses and other goodies from the book.
However, there have been a couple of backers asking for more details on the Tome of the Mind, so we'll delve into that book in the next update.
Until then, here's the proposed cover to whet your appetites.
